CLUB AWARDS NIGHT
saturday September date tba

The Club awards night for Colts and will hopefully be in September.  The Pandemic has unfortunately prevented us celebrating the achievements both great and small as teams and individuals over the last couple of years. However we hope that this will not be the case this year.  It will be held at the Club, where there will be food, drink and entertainment a plenty.  Let's make this one  memorable.   More details soon...

COLTS EVENINGS april To August

The sessions will run from Friday April  22nd through to late July taking place every Friday evening from 5.45pm.  We invite children from ages 7 and upwards interested in playing cricket to join us.  The cost this season is £3.00 per session for non club members.

We have our Level 2 qualified coach running the Colts evenings, alongside our other coaches who are all CRB checked.  Deb's Austin, the club's Welfare/Safeguqrding Officer, ensures the safety and welfare of all children is paramount and is available to offer advice and support if required.

We run a barbecue most Colts evenings (weather permitting) and the Bar is open too so come down and get sociable!

Colts Registration

All Colts who train with us need to complete the Colts Registration Form (12 and overs need to sign as well as parent) irrespective of whether they play in one of the teams. In addition, Colts who play competitively for the club need to be members of the club; this can be individually or as part of a family membership. A membership form will need to be completed with payment.

Download the Colt Registration form below.  For Membership go here.

Clubmark

We have once again received the ECB Clubmark award which means the Club operates to a key set of core criteria and has in place good practice to ensure that we can deliver high quality community cricket in an environment that is safe, effective and child friendly.

Calling All Parents!

We are always looking for extra help, including coaches, so that we can extend our training facilities and open them up to more young cricketers.  Could you:
  • Help with coaching our younger Colts – no previous experience required -
  • Help with the barbecue or cook up a curry/chilli?
  • Sell raffle tickets/bottletops to raise extra funds?
  • Help with anything else that might crop up?
If you or someone you know could give us a hand for a couple of hours on a Friday evening (while socialising at the same time) we would love to hear from you.  The more helpers we have the more fun we can make Friday nights for all the family!
Many thanks
Deborah Austin, Safeguarding / Welfare Officer
