Welcome to Exmouth Cricket Club
Founded in 1843 we occupy one of the most idyllic settings in Devon on the edge of the world famous Jurassic Coast looking out over Lyme Bay. We currently run six senior teams who participate in various leagues across Devon including a successful Ladies team. We also have a thriving Colts section and continue to achieved ClubMark status in recognition of our child friendly approach to cricket.
The 1st XI play in the Devon Premier League which we won most recently in 2013. That season we completed a double by also winning the Devon Senior Cup! Our most recent success was in 2015 where we reached the ECB National Club T20 finals.
The Club hosts Devon County Cricket Club's Minor Counties and Devon Cricket Board games and occasionally teams from the First Class County Game. The Ground can accommodate 18 wickets as well as allowing for a 65 metre boundary while still having the capacity for spectators to drive onto the ground to watch the cricket. We host over 60 matches a season and most weekends in the summer there is something happening at the ground.
The 2018 fixtures are listed on the Fixtures & Results page by month and by team.
The Bar in the club pavilion and the neighbouring T- Hut Café are open to club members and the public serving food and drink. We host events in the Bar throughout the year and with a 50" TV, it's a great place to chill either after a match or at the weekend when it is open. We often show special sporting events where you can watch in a friendly, convivial and comfortable environment.
We welcome new and old members alike so come along and check us out!
Call for Help!
NatWest Cricket Force Weekend
April 7th & 8th
The club has a large ground and outbuildings and we are always appreciative of any help that members and supporters can spare us. If you do have some spare time and feel able to help out, please come down. This year the self help Cricket Force weekend is 7th – 8th April where we need as many volunteers as possible! We encourage you to come to the Maer Ground to help with a wide range of jobs, repairs and preparations for the new season. There are jobs to be done indoors and out so come down whatever the weather!
